Ranodeb (Ronnie) Roy, Founder, CEO and CIO

Mr. Roy has almost 3 decades of experience in trading Asian Fixed Income, Currency and Credit products . Prior to founding RV Capital he was a Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income-Asia Pacific at Morgan Stanley, responsible for the Fixed Income Division. During the course of his career, he has held various senior positions and managed trading books at Merrill Lynch, Barclays and Bank of America across major locations including New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong. He received an MBA degree from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, India.

 

Vickram Mangalgiri, Founder, CFo and COO

Mr. Mangalgiri has 16 years of experience in fund management, trading, risk management, compliance, IT systems and operations. Prior to founding RV Capital, he has worked in these areas at some of the largest financial firms such as PIMCO, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs. He graduated with a Master of Science degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a Certificate in Financial Technology from Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Technology degree with Honors from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, India.

 

Rajesh Mahadevan, Head of Trading Strategy

Mr. Mahadevan has almost twenty years’ experience in macro trading, research, and structuring across various geographical locations. Prior to joining RV Capital, he has worked at BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan and HSBC advising clients, structuring rates and FX deals and publishing strategy ideas for macro and relative value opportunities. He received an MBA degree from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India and a Bachelor of Technology in Applied Electronics Engineering from College of Engineering, Trivandrum, India. He is also a CFA charter-holder.

 

Yvonne Tan, Head-Operations

Ms. Tan has over 20 years of experience in middle office and operations across multiple product classes including credit, rates, FX, equity and commodities. Over the course of her career, she has provided trade support, managed teams and enhanced process efficiencies at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Alphadyne Asset Management and Government of Singapore Investment Corporation. She received her Bachelor of Business in Banking & Finance from Monash University.

 

Lincoln Neo, Head-Portfolio Risk Management & Chief Risk Officer

Mr. Neo has over 14 years of experience in structuring across fixed-income, currencies, commodities and credit markets, as well as economic policy-making in government. Most recently, he was responsible for private-side Macro Structuring for North Asia at Standard Chartered bank in Hong Kong. Prior to that he spent nearly 9 years in Deutsche Bank in multiple structuring roles in Hong Kong and Singapore. Throughout his banking career, he has worked extensively with clients on interest rates, FX and commodities risk management strategies and solutions. Mr. Neo started his career with the Singapore Government at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, overseeing policy-making for the tourism industry. Mr. Neo holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Economics, both from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

 

Thomas Picard – Head of Investor Relations

Mr. Picard has over 30 years of experience in various roles in the asset management industry in Asia as well as in the Asian fixed-income and derivatives markets. Prior to Joining RV Capital, Tom spent seven years as Head of Investor Relations at Saka Capital, a Singapore based investment management company. Prior to Saka Capital, he was Managing Partner at HFG Investments, also a Singapore-based investment management company and joint venture with Hana Daetoo Securities in Seoul, Korea. Between 1989 and 2004 he held a number of positions with Lehman Brothers Asia Ltd, including Head of Asia- Pacific Derivative Sales and Marketing, and Head of Fixed-Income Sales, Non-Japan Asia. In 2000 he was appointed General Manager of Lehman Brothers Singapore and Head of Southeast Asia Capital Markets Sales. After 15 years with Lehman Brothers he left the firm in 2004 to take the role of Head of Asia-Pacific Financial Market Sales for the Royal Bank of Scotland. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science and the Arts, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
